Victoria – One Injured after Driver Ran a Red Light on Navarro Street

Last June 11, a driver was sent to a hospital after getting involved in a car accident with a reckless driver on Navarro Street, according to a local news source.
Initial investigation indicates that a black Honda failed to stop at a red light as it approaches the intersection of Navarro Street and Zac Lentz Parkway. This prompted a collision which involved a Kia Sportage. According to police officials, the Kia was on the access road when it T-boned the Honda.
The driver of the Honda, whose identity has not been released, was rushed to an area hospital in Detar where he received medical treatment. The extent of his injuries was not determined. The Honda driver was cited for running a red light. Whether or not he was hurt was not confirmed by local emergency crews.
No one else was injured.
