Victoria – Major Crash on SH 185 Killed Four People

At least four people were killed after a horrific car accident on State Highway 185, early Sunday morning.
At around 1:00 a.m., a major collision on SH 185 was reported. According to the report, an undescribed vehicle had been traveling along SH 185 when it crashed into a 1995 Chevrolet 350 PU that was carrying three occupants. Police said that the Chevrolet crashed into a utility pole and came to rest upright facing North. Based on a preliminary investigation, one of the vehicles failed to yield the right of way which prompted the crash.
The force of the impact killed four people at the scene. Their identities were not immediately released by responding officers.
The driver of the Chevrolet sustained injuries and was transported to Citizens Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition. Authorities later identified the victim as Rogelio Rodriguez.
