Victoria – Heidi Brewer Hospitalized Following a Motorcycle Accident on North East Zac Lentz Parkway

A 42-year-old female motorcyclist was sent to a hospital after getting involved in a collision with a pickup truck on North East Zac Lentz Parkway in Victoria, Friday afternoon.
According to the report released by police officials, a motorcycle was seen traveling along North East Zac Lentz Parkway when it collided with a small utility trailer hooked to a Ford F-150 that was also heading west on North East Zac Lentz. Based on a preliminary investigation, the operator of the motorcycle, identified as Heidi Brewer, 42, was attempting to merge into the westbound lanes prior to the incident.
Brewer suffered from serious injuries from the force of the impact. He was rushed to DeTar Hospital Navarro and later airlifted to a hospital in San Antonio. Fortunately, the driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
The Victoria Police Department and Victoria Fire Department were called to the scene to determined the cause of the crash. No citations have been issued as of this writing.
