Victoria—Four Victims from U.S. 59 Crash Identified

Authorities have identified the victims injured in a car accident on U.S. 59 last Sunday.
The injured victims were named Alfonso Ramos, Evelyn Rosas, Adeleida Rosas and Edgar Rosas. They were occupants in the Chevrolet Silverado involved in the crash.
According to reports, a Ford F-150 was traveling along the southbound lanes of U.S. 59 near SH 185 when, for yet unknown reasons, it skidded onto the median where it was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado that was heading north. A Texas Department of Public Safety official said that the Ford lost control after negotiating a curve on US 59.
The passengers, identified as Adeleida Rosas and Edgar Rosas, in the Silverado suffered from various injuries. They were rushed to Citizens Medical Center where they were treated and released. Another passenger in Silverado, Nataly Tirado, also sustained injuries and was taken to DeTar Hospital Navarro for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
