Victoria – Drivers Injured in Auto Collision on Ben Wilson Street

Tuesday morning, two drivers were sent to a hospital after getting into a motor vehicle collision Ben Wilson Street in Victoria, Tuesday morning.

According to a report released by the Victoria Police Department, a white Buick collided with a red GMC pickup truck that was attempting to make a left turn at the intersection of Bel Wilson and Red River. Based on a preliminary investigation, the driver of the Buick entered the cross street while on a red light, prompting the collision.

Both drivers sustained non-life threatening injuries from the force of the impact. They were taken to area hospitals where they received proper medical treatment.

Local investigators arrived at the scene to gather details surrounding the crash. No citations have been issued at the moment.
