Valley View—Timothy Kramer Hit by Car on Interstate 35

A Celina resident was pronounced dead after getting struck by a vehicle on Interstate 35 near Mile Marker 485, according to Texas Highway Patrol official.
Just before 4:00 a.m., local troopers responded to a fatal crash near Mile Marker 485 in Valley View. Initial investigation shows that a 2014 Chrysler 300 was traveling along the northbound lanes of I-35 when, for yet unknown reasons, it crashed into a guardrail. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 52-year-old Timothy Kramer, stepped out of his vehicle while waiting for help. As he was standing in the roadway, a 1999 model Chrysler 300 the struck him. The force of impact killed Kramer instantly. He was pronounced dead on scene by Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace Carroll Johnson.
Four occupants in 1999 Chevrolet sustained injuries. They were all transported to Medical City for treatment. They are expected to recover.
No charges have been made as investigators are still investigating the case.
