UPDATE: Woman killed, children injured in fatal wreck on Antoine Drive

HOUSTON, TX – A woman was killed and two children sustained minor injuries in the fatal wreck on Antoine Drive that was reported on the night of Friday, May 28, per the Houston Police Department.
The driver of a tan Ford Explorer, a 26-year-old woman, was speeding near 5369 Antoine Drive when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a nearby curb around 8:15 p.m. The car then left the roadway and crashed into a business, also hitting a parked vehicle.
The woman was declared dead at the scene while two children, 3 and 5-years-old, sustained minor cuts.
An investigation into the crash remains open.
