UPDATE: Woman dies after crashing into pole on South Voss

HOUSTON, TX – A woman died after crashing into a pole on South Voss on the morning of Thursday, April 1, according to the officers at the Houston Police Department.
A press release from the department states that a red Toyota Corolla was speeding near 1400 South Ross Road when the driver, a 25-year-old woman, lost control of her car. She then crashed into a nearby traffic light pole and was fatally injured. Emergency responders declared her dead at the scene.
