UPDATE: Woman and child killed in Lee Rd crash

HOUSTON, TX – Police have released additional information about a fatal accident that occurred on Lee Road in northeast Houston last Wednesday.
According to KPRC, a Buick Park Avenue ran a red light on Lee Road at around noon on June 10, crashing into a semi truck on the Sam Houston Parkway feeder road. The Buick then collided into a second truck and finally a car that was parked outside a gas station.
Emergency responders took a 25-year-old woman and a 3-year-old boy to a nearby hospital for treatment, but they could not be saved.
