UPDATE: Victim identified in fatal pedestrian crash in Crosby

CROSBY, TX – The victim has been identified in the fatal pedestrian crash that took place on Crosby on the morning of Friday, June 18 by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The office reports that Holt Maggard was traveling on a motorized scooter near 3400 FM 1942 around 3:57 a.m. Lexee Patin-Taylor was driving a 2015 red Ford Fusion when she lost control of her vehicle, striking Maggard.
The victim was declared dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
