Update: Suspect that ran over man in west Houston identified

HOUSTON, TX – The suspect that ran over an elderly man during a robbery in west Houston has been identified, according to KHOU 11.
Around 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, the suspect, now identified as David Cornell Brown, punched an elderly man standing next to his running vehicle at a Valero gas station on 12200 Beechnut Street. Brown then got into the victim’s car and sped out of the gas station, running over the victim.
The stolen vehicle was later found at 4000 Synott, but authorities are still on the hunt for Brown.
