UPDATE: Suspect in fatal DUI collision in Clear Lake arrested

CLEAR LAKE, TX – The suspect in the fatal DUI collision in Clear Lake has been arrested, according to the Houston Police Department.

The press release states that 27-year-old Marquise Thomas was driving his white Chevrolet Corvette at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a nearby tree. A passenger in the vehicle was killed upon impact.

Thomas was determined to be intoxicated at the time of the wreck and has been arrested for intoxication manslaughter.
