UPDATE: Suspect charged in DWI accident in Humble

HUMBLE, TX – A suspect has been charged in the DWI accident that took place in Humble on Sunday, Click2Houston reports.
Eliud Isael Sanchez Martinez, a 35-year-old man, was driving a gray GMC Yukon near 6000 Glen Lee Drive when he suddenly veered off the side of the road and crashed into a ditch. The vehicle then hit the driveway of a nearby home, flipping over onto its side.
A 36-year-old passenger in the vehicle, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. Sanchez was determined to be intoxicated at the time of the crash and has since been charged with intoxication manslaughter.
He is currently being treated for serious injuries.
