UPDATE: Pedestrian dies in major collision on Wayside Drive

HOUSTON, TX – The officers at the Houston Police Department have learned that a pedestrian died in the major collision that took place on Wayside Drive on the morning of February 4.
The pedestrian was crossing near 1000 Wayside Drive when he was struck by an oncoming blue Chevrolet Cruze. The Houston Fire Department transported the victim, identified as a 65-year-old male, to the hospital. He died of his injuries on Thursday, February 11.
No charges have been filed and the incident remains under investigation.
