UPDATE: Man charged with intoxication manslaughter after wreck on the Gulf Freeway

HOUSTON, TX – A man was charged with intoxication manslaughter after a wreck on the Gulf Freeway on the morning of Friday, February 19, per the Houston Police Department.
The unidentified 25-year-old male victim was driving a black Chevrolet Cruze near 900 Gulf Freeway when he was hit by Philip Alexander Breaux in a black BMW 3. The driver of the Chevrolet was rushed to the hospital where he was declared deceased. A passenger in the vehicle was taken to the hospital with several broken bones.
Breaux, 21-years-old, was determined to be impaired at the time of the accident. He has since been charged with intoxication manslaughter.
