UPDATE: HPD issues press release regarding fatal crash on Maxey Road

HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Police Department has issued a press release regarding the fatal crash that took place on Maxey Road on Sunday morning.
According to the press release, an unidentified man was driving northbound in the southbound lanes near 600 Maxey Road around 7:05 a.m. that morning. He then veered off the road and crashed into two metal poles in front of an apartment complex.
The victim was rushed to Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital where he was officially declared deceased. No one else was involved in the accident.
