UPDATE: HPD issues press release on fatal wreck on Dairy Ashford Road

HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Police Department issued a press release on the fatal wreck on Dairy Ashford Road that took place yesterday afternoon.
According to the press release, the victim, a 22-year-old man, was driving a Ford Escape near 1100 Dairy Ashford Road that afternoon. He lost control of his car and swerved over several lanes of traffic.
The unidentified victim then crashed into a nearby pole, knocking a traffic device onto the ground. He was declared dead at the scene by emergency responders.
The crash remains under investigation.
