UPDATE: HPD issues press release on fatal Northwest Freeway crash

HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Police Department has issued a press release regarding the fatal Northwest Freeway crash that took place on the morning of Monday, November 9.
According to the press release, a male was riding a bicycle near 14000 Northwest Freeway when he was struck by a red Buick Park Avenue while exiting the driveway of a business.
The 31-year-old driver of the Buick remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. He was eventually released.
