UPDATE: HPD issues press release on fatal motorcycle accident on Richmond Avenue

HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Police Department issued a press release regarding the fatal motorcycle accident that took place on Richmond Avenue on Sunday, November 22.

According to the press release, a black Maserati pulled out of a private drive into traffic near 6300 Richmond Avenue. The driver of the Maserati then attempted to make a turn, hitting the driver of a red Ducati motorcycle. The motorcyclist was killed upon impact.

The driver of the Maserati consented to a blood draw and cooperated with authorities. No charges have been filed at this time.
