UPDATE: HPD issues further information on fatal motorcycle accident on the South Loop

HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Police Department has issued further information regarding the fatal motorcycle accident that took place on the South Loop on Wednesday night.
A witness told the HPD that two motorcycles were weaving in and out of traffic on the South Loop around 8:25 p.m. Vehicles on the freeway began to slow down due to heavy traffic and the two motorcyclists attempted to change lanes.
A blue Yamaha motorcycle hit the back end of a Chevrolet Tahoe and fell off his bike. He was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead. The victim was just 33-years-old.
