UPDATE: HCSO issues press release regarding fatal street racing crash on Clay Road

SPRING, TX – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has issued a press release regarding the fatal street racing crash that took place on Clay Road yesterday afternoon.
Authorities say a 20-year-old man in a Chevrolet Camaro was racing another driver, also 20, in a Ford Mustang near 22300 Clay Road around 3:30 p.m. The driver of the Chevrolet, Ibrahima Radjabu, crashed into a semi-truck, driving underneath the trailer portion of the vehicle. He was killed upon impact.
The driver of the Ford, Olutwatise Gbadebo, crashed into a nearby curb but otherwise avoided the collision. He admitted that he and Radjabu were racing and he was arrested and charged for Racing Involving Death.
The accident remains under investigation.
