HOUSTON, TX – A driver was killed in the fiery tanker crash that took place on the North Loop yesterday, KHOU 11 reports.
The driver was speeding on the North Loop when he attempted to take the Irvington exit and his truck jackknifed. The truck, which was carrying ethanol, burst into flames shortly after.
The fire spread to a nearby house but luckily only one person was inside and they were not hurt. The fire did cause significant damage to the property, however.
Authorities are working to identify the driver.
