UPDATE: Driver burned in heavy vehicle crash on North Freeway

HOUSTON, TEXAS – The driver of the heavy truck that crashed yesterday, Thursday, May 21st, was burned in the collision along Northwest Freeway, The Houston Chronicle reports.
The driver of the big rig reportedly crashed into a wall among the freeway’s exit ramp around 2:50 p.m. After crashing into the wall, the truck’s cab caught on fire.
The driver was burned but was able to escape from the vehicle. The extent of his burns is not known.
