UPDATE: 10-year-old dies from injuries following major wreck on Knoboak Drive

HOUSTON, TX – The 10-year-old hit in a major wreck on Knoboak Drive has died from his injuries, according to the Houston Police Department.
A press release from the department states that the 10-year-old victim was riding a bicycle on Maux Drive when he failed to yield at a stop sign and was hit by a black Jeep Wrangler driving on Knoboak Drive. The young boy was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. She was determined not to be intoxicated at the time of the accident and was released.
The boy was declared dead on September 3 at Memorial Hermann Hospital.
