Tyler – SUV Driver Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision on Toll 49 ID’d

The Tyler woman who died in a car accident on Toll 49 near County Road 46 has been identified by Smith County local officials, according to local news source.
The fatality was named as Barbara Busch Beagle, 62.
Police said that Beagle was driving a sport utility vehicle along the southbound lanes of Toll 49 when, for some reasons, she traveled onto the opposing lanes and collided with a passing 2013 Freightliner van. Both vehicles caught fire as a result of the collision.
Beagle, her passenger, identified as 34-year-old Kei Lei Harding, and the driver of the Freightliner were all pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities identified the second driver as Kendrick Lamone Hartsfield, 41, of Tyler.
What caused Beagle to drift onto the northbound lanes remains unknown at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
