At least four people were injured following a vehicle collision on Old Bullard Road near Shelley Drive, local officers confirm.
At an unspecified time last Tuesday, the Tyler police department responded to Old Bullard Road for a bus accident. According to reports, the driver of a bus was driving along the area when, for some unknown reasons, it slammed into a dental office, next to the Honey Tree.
The impact of the collision injured four people. One victim was rushed to a hospital for treatment while the three others were treated at the scene. According to the victims, they were inside the building during the time of crash. Their identifications were not immediately made available.
The Tyler emergency crews arrived at the scene to assist the victims and in the clearing of the site.
What led the collision is yet to be determined as investigators are still looking into all the factors that contributed to the accident.
Investigation is underway.
Our sympathies go out to the family and friends of the injured victims. We pray for their speedy recovery.
In Texas, car collisions happen on a regular basis. Most of the time, these events result in injuries and fatalities. Victims involved in crashes are left to deal with life-threatening injuries, damages to property, and worse—emotional trauma. While accidents are fortuitous events that cannot be foreseen, they can be prevented if only drivers had simply put their complete attention on the road and taken their responsibility as drivers more seriously. This is why, despite conscious efforts by government to combat the increasing number of fatalities and injuries every year, crashes due to negligence is still on the rise.
