Two-vehicle wreck involving semi reported on E Loop Fwy in SE Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A two-vehicle collision involving an 18-wheeler Wednesday morning closed two lanes on East Loop Freeway in Houston’s Harrisburg/Manchester area, according to Houston Transtar.

The accident occurred on the southbound freeway (IH-610) near Manchester Street and was verified at 10:38 a.m.

A right lane and center lane were closed to traffic, and by 12:11 p.m., they remained blocked, suggesting a serious collision.

No further information has been released regarding the parties involved or any injuries sustained.
