Two-vehicle collision reported on IH-610 S Loop in south Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A two-vehicle accident late Friday morning blocked a shoulder, two lanes and an onramp on South Loop East Freeway in Houston’s Brookhaven area, according to Houston TranStar.

The crash happened on the westbound freeway before Exit 37 to Scott Road. It was verified by Houston TranStar shortly before 11:36 a.m.

Details are limited, but the event impacted the right shoulder, right lane, center lane and the entrance ramp.

As of this writing, no further updates have been released regarding the parties involved.
