Two-vehicle collision closes two lanes on IH-45 NB in SE Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning blocked two lanes and a shoulder on Gulf Freeway near southeast Houston’s Pecan Park neighborhood, according to Houston Transtar.

The accident happened on the northbound lanes at Telephone Road. It was verified by Houston Transtar at 10:52 a.m.

It was unclear what led up to the crash, but the event impacted the right shoulder, right lane, and center lane.

By 11:07 a.m., the scene had been cleared from the roadway with all lanes reopened to traffic.

As of this writing, authorities have not shared further details regarding the parties involved or any injuries sustained.
