Two-vehicle accident reported on the Katy Freeway by HPD

HOUSTON, TX – In a tweet posted to the department’s official Twitter page, the Houston Police Department announced that a two-vehicle accident took place on the Katy Freeway on the night of Tuesday, June 16.

Traffic Alert:
Two Vehicle accident at the 11500 Block of IH-10 E/B. The two left lanes are closed; till the accident is cleared. Expect Delays.

The two cars collided at the freeway’s 11500 block. The incident shut down two of the highway’s left lanes and police advised travelers to expect delays.
