Two-vehicle accident closes two lanes on IH-10 EB near west Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A two-vehicle collision late Monday morning blocked two lanes and a shoulder on the Katy Freeway near Houston’s Energy Corridor, according to Houston Transtar.

The crash happened on the eastbound freeway (Interstate 10) at Park Ten Boulevard. It was verified by Houston Transtar shortly before 11:00 a.m.

It was not immediately clear what caused the wreck, but a right shoulder, right lane, and center lane were impacted.

As of this writing, authorities have not released further details confirming any significant injuries.
