MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX – Two teenagers were tragically killed in a major collision in Montgomery County on Saturday evening, Click2Houston reports.
The teenagers were traveling in a Toyota Camry with their family which was stopped near Interstate 69 and the San Jacinto River because another vehicle had caught on fire. A commercial van crashed into the back of the family’s vehicle before hitting a nearby Chevrolet Tahoe.
The force of the crash caused the Camry to hit a nearby pickup truck. One of the teenagers was declared dead at the scene while the other died at a nearby hospital. The teenagers’ mother and father, as well as another passenger, were released from the hospital overnight.
The crash remains under investigation.
