Two seriously hurt in suspected DUI rollover wreck near east Katy

HARRIS COUNTY, TX — Two people were hospitalized early Tuesday morning after a single-vehicle accident involving a suspected intoxicated driver, reports NTV Houston.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the collision occurred at the intersection of Fry Road and Franz Road at about 2:45 a.m.
According to a preliminary investigation, a driver failed to maintain a lane as their vehicle left the roadway and flipped over at least once.
A female victim was transported by airlift to an area hospital while a male victim was taken to a hospital by ambulance. Authorities have not released information on the extent of their injuries, but they are both expected to survive.
The HCSO determined both occupants were impaired, and deputies were further investigating to learn who was behind the wheel at the time of the crash.
