Two lanes blocked after crash on I-45 at Mt. Houston Rd.

HOUSTON, TX – Commuters in far north Houston faced major delays following a Monday afternoon crash on I-45.

According to Total Traffic Houston, the crash occurred on the outbound side of the interstate, near West Mt. Houston Road.

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. However, this situation is still developing.

Drivers have been advised to seek an alternate route as at least two lanes have been closed while emergency crews work to clear the scene.
