Two killed in head-on collision in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX – Two people were left dead in a tragic head-on collision in Montgomery County on the evening of Friday, May 15, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Authorities say that around 5 p.m., the driver of a 2008 Nissan Titan crossed the center line on FM 1097 and slammed into a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer.
Two women were inside of the Mountaineer at the time of the accident — one was killed upon impact and the other was taken to Conroe Regional Hospital with critical injuries. The driver of the Titan, a man in his 30s, was declared dead at the scene.
The identities of the two victims have not yet been released.
