Truck fire blocks I-610 at I-10

HOUSTON, TX – Commuters were forced to seek an alternate route after a semi-truck fire shut down a portion of I-610 this morning.
According to ABC 13, the crash took place sometime before 8:45 a.m. near the I-10 interchange.
It is unclear what caused the fire at this time. However, at least two lanes and the right shoulder were closed as a result, causing major delays in the area.
No injuries have been reported at this time. However, this situation is still developing.
