The Department of Public Safety is currently looking for the driver who escaped the scene after getting into a crash on Farm to Market Road 812, Sunday.

Initial reports show that a man was attempting to cross FM 812, near Circuit of the Americas, when he was hit by a passing Ford pickup truck that was traveling along the eastbound lanes. The impact of the crash left the pedestrian with serious injuries. He was later pronounced deceased by emergency crews. Authorities identified the victim as a 36-year-old resident of Mountain View, California.

Meanwhile, the driver is still at large. The Travis County Police Department said they are looking for a blue or a teal-colored Ford pickup truck that has front-end and hood damage with a missing Ford F150 King Ranch emblem

The crash remains under investigation.
