Tractor-trailer crash blocks IH-45 NB offramp in north Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A two-vehicle accident involving a big rig Friday morning blocked a North Freeway exit ramp in north Houston’s Cypress Station area, according to Houston Transtar.

The wreck occurred on the northbound lanes before Farm to Market 1960 (FM 1960). It was verified by Houston Transtar at 9:44 a.m.

It was unclear what caused the collision, but the right shoulder near the ramp was also impacted.

As of this writing, authorities have not released details confirming any serious injuries.
