Tomball man dies in plane accident in E Texas

ZAVALLA, TX (ANGELINA COUNTY) – A man from Tomball died in a plane crash Saturday in east Texas, according to KPRC2.
The incident happened at a private airstrip in Zavalla, in Angelina County.
40-year-old James Duke Vanlue was flying from Tomball to Zavalla when he struck multiple trees near the runway. Vanlue died at the scene, according to the report.
The incident is under investigation at this time by the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.
