Three-year-old boy killed in crash with 18-wheeler

HOUSTON, TEXAS – A three-year-old boy along with a 25-year-old woman were killed in a collision with an 18-wheeler on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 10, according to ABC 13.
The outlet reports that the driver of a Buick Park Avenue ran a red light on Lee Road and the driver of a tractor-trailer traveling on North Sam Houston Parkway East crashed into the vehicle. After the initial collision, the driver of the Buick slammed into two other vehicles.
The driver of the Buick sustained minor injuries while a 3-year-old and 25-year-old woman were both killed in the accident.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
