Three killed in major accident in Liberty County

CONROE, TX – Three people were killed in a major accident in Liberty County on the night of Saturday, September 26, the Houston Chronicle reports.
According to authorities, a black pickup truck was driving on State Highway 105 near Cleveland and attempted to pass an 18-wheeler. The pickup then crashed into a Chevrolet pickup while switching lanes. Both drivers were killed.
The driver attempting to switch lanes has been identified as a 33-year-old man from Houston. A passenger in the back of his vehicle died after being taken to the hospital. Another passenger was rushed to Memorial Hermann via LifeFlight in critical condition.
