Texas City – Semi-Truck Crash on Highway 3

At least one person was killed following an auto crash on Texas Highway 3 in Texas City, a local news source reported.
Based on the initial report, a passenger vehicle was seen traveling along Hwy 3 near Century Boulevard when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it crashed into a tractor-trailer. The impact of the crash sent the passenger car off the roadway and came to rest in a ditch. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found one person suffering from fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased a few moments later. Responding authorities did not confirm if the victim was a passenger or a driver of one of the vehicles involved.
