Texarkana – 64-year-old Pamela Bartlett Died in Cowhorn Creek Loop

Texarkana law enforcement officials have identified the woman who was pronounced deceased following a two-car crash on South Cowhorn Creek Loop.
The fatality was named as Pamela Bartlett, 64, a resident of Texarkana.
At around 8:00 p.m., the incident occurred on S Cowhorn Creek Loop near a commercial establishment’s parking lot. Pamela Bartlett was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier along the northbound lanes when it crashed into a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox that was also heading north. Police said the Chevrolet drifted into the turn lane where the Equinox is attempting to enter the parking lot. As a result, Bartlett sustained serious injuries and was taken to St. Michael Hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, she later succumbed to her injuries.
The driver of the Equinox, Katherine Schmidt, 36, of Texarkana, was slightly injured.
No one else was hurt.
