Terrell County – Two Died in a Semi-Truck Accident on Highway 90

A major crash which occurred on Highway 90 in Terrell County took the lives of two people, Tuesday morning, a local news source reported.
At around 5:30 a.m., local troopers responded to Highway 90, just east of Dryden, to assist in a vehicle collision involving two semi-trucks. After the initial crash, a passing sport utility vehicle (SUV) then crashed into one of the semi-trucks, leaving its occupants–a driver and a passenger–heavily injured. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, both occupants were pronounced deceased.
Meanwhile, the driver and a passenger in the SUV were airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries was not disclosed at this time.
No one else was injured.
Area investigators arrived at the scene to determine the cause of the accident.
