Temple–Random Allen Dies Following a Car Accident on Airport Road

The Temple Police Department is investigating a crash that killed one person on Airport Road last Saturday night.
According to police reports, the wreck took place at around 11:30 p.m. A vehicle was pulling out of a parking lot near Airport Road when it was struck by another car. The impact of the collision killed one of the two drivers involved. He was later identified as 38-year-old Random Allen. Local authorities did not confirm which vehicle he was driving in.
The department’s Traffic Reconstruction Unit and TxDOT were requested at the scene to help in the clearing of the site.
Investigation is still underway.
