Temple – Driver Died in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on W Adams Ave

Temple law enforcement officials are conducting an investigation about a vehicle accident that took place on West Adams Avenue last Friday evening.

According to the initial investigation, the incident occurred just after 5:00 p.m. at the 8200 block of West Adams Avenue. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain unclear at this time but it was confirmed that at least two vehicles were involved in the accident.

The force of the impact left one of the drivers with fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased by emergency crews who arrived at the scene. Authorities later identified the victim as 70-year-old Jeannie Elliot. The other driver did not sustain any injury. His identification has not yet been released.

Area investigators were also requested at the scene to determine liability. The crash remains under investigation.
