KINGWOOD, TX – A teenager tragically died in a multi-vehicle wreck in Kingwood on Tuesday evening, according to ABC 13.

Authorities report that a Mercedes broke down in the southbound lanes of US. 59 near Kingwood Drive. The occupants of the Mercedes got out of the vehicle and eventually a Dodge pickup truck stopped behind the vehicle. A Nissan pickup truck then crashed into the back of the Dodge, eventually hitting another car.

A 16-year-old boy from Honduras inside the Nissan was killed in the accident. The driver of the car barely survived and was rushed to a nearby hospital. Investigators believe alcohol played a part in the crash.
