Teen killed after jumping out of car on the North Freeway

HOUSTON, TX – According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a teen was killed after jumping out of a car on the North Freeway on Monday night.
@HCSOTexas units responded to a scene at 16827 North Freeway. Preliminary info: a teen female (possibly 15) was having a disturbance w her mother when she jumped out of a moving car. The teen was struck by an unknown car the fled the scene. Teen was pronounced deceased on scene. pic.twitter.com/utlQ5khzvX

The teen was in a car with her mother that was driving near 16827 North Freeway on Monday night. She and her mother got into an altercation and she jumped out of the moving car.
She was then struck by a car that fled the scene of the wreck.
