Teen driver dies after crash with tree on Little York Rd in NW Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A 19-year-old man was killed early last Sunday in a single-vehicle accident near northwest Houston’s Greater Inwood neighborhood, reports The Leader.
The fatal collision occurred in the 6000 block of West Little York Road shortly after 2:00 a.m.
According to the Houston Police Department, the young man was driving westbound when, for reasons still being investigated, he lost control of his car, causing it to veer off the roadway, travel into the median and hit a tree.
The victim died from his injuries at the scene, confirmed authorities.
No other injuries were reported and no other vehicles appear to have been involved.
