Taylor – Glenda Louise Werth Died in Major Accident on Main St

The Taylor Police Department has released the name of the woman who died in a rear-end crash on South Main Street last November 2nd.
According to initial reports, local officers were dispatched at the 1100 block of South Main Street just before 9:00 p.m. A van, driven by 59-year-old Glenda Louise Werth, was backing in reverse when its rear was struck by a passing sport utility vehicle. The force of the impact sent the van into incoming traffic where it was struck again by a pickup truck. Werth sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her grandson, who was identified as Hunter Werthm was taken to Dell Children’s Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup truck was also rushed to Seton Williamson County Hospital where he received medical treatment. The extent of his injuries was not disclosed.
